Overview
The official resource for information about the core concepts and formulas of agentOS.
Welcome

Welcome to the official documentation for agentOS.
agentOS enables anyone to launch their own sentient, graphically represented DeFi agent with no cost on Solana that grows its own market cap and liquidity by spending from it.
There are no competitors or similar products existing or known to be in the works.

Introduction

agentOS (also styled aOS and AOS) is a real-time on-chain economy enabled by a autonomous agent-driven commerce protocol that uses a gamified simulation as a visual tool for storytelling, with the stated goal of being the first meaningful implementation of virtual agents on Solana.
Each agent being tokenized has a liquidity pool functioning as a mutual fund and at the same time as the root of it’s token price. Owning those tokens makes you part of that agent's DAO.
It provides a full interface and a framework where autonomous on-chain agents execute complex economic activities and actions leading to them under the collective governance of a DAO consisting of the agent's shareholders in the form of token ownership.
The protocol merges well-known concepts from popular agentic frameworks and launchpads into an environment that is completely unique. As such, it presents a high-level barrier of entry in the technical realm, but the core concepts are simple and able to be understood by anyone.
The following Docs are written in a way that there is no barrier of entry to understand them. We've opted to produce a video series that goes over the same things quicker and in an audiovisual easy-to-follow format. agentOS Explained Series: [ Part 1 ]
